Our professional accreditations
We’re proud of all of our accreditations – but what do they mean for you and your renewable heating installation?
-
MCS
The MCS – Microgeneration Certification Scheme – is the main certification body for technologies used to produce renewable electricity and heat, and their installers. Only renewable energy systems installed by an MCS-accredited company are eligible to receive payments under the government’s Renewable Heat Incentive scheme. Because we are accredited, your biomass and solar thermal installations will be eligible.
-
Part P
Part P is an amendment to the Building Regulations introduced by the government in 2005. It outlines the measures that must be taken to ensure domestic electrical installations are safe. Our Part P certificate demonstrates that Lime Circle is a competent, conscientious installer, and that your green renewable technology will be fully compliant with Building Regulations.
-
ELECSA
ELECSA, Professional electrical assessment body, have fully assessed us and declared us a Competent Person, which means that we are legally allowed to self-certify our work as compliant with all applicable Building Regulations. This helps you, as it means you won’t have to pay building control fees for your solar panel installation / green technology installation, or submit a building notice.
