Our professional accreditations

We’re proud of all of our accreditations – but what do they mean for you and your renewable heating installation?

  • The MCS – Microgeneration Certification Scheme – is the main certification body for technologies used to produce renewable electricity and heat, and their installers. Only renewable energy systems installed by an MCS-accredited company are eligible to receive payments under the government’s Renewable Heat Incentive scheme. Because we are accredited, your biomass and solar thermal installations will be eligible.

  • Part P is an amendment to the Building Regulations introduced by the government in 2005. It outlines the measures that must be taken to ensure domestic electrical installations are safe. Our Part P certificate demonstrates that Lime Circle is a competent, conscientious installer, and that your green renewable technology will be fully compliant with Building Regulations.

  • ELECSA, Professional electrical assessment body, have fully assessed us and declared us a Competent Person, which means that we are legally allowed to self-certify our work as compliant with all applicable Building Regulations. This helps you, as it means you won’t have to pay building control fees for your solar panel installation / green technology installation, or submit a building notice.

  • We are members of the Renewable Energy Association, which promotes the use of all forms of renewable energy in the UK. Our membership means we attend regular technology and sector meetings to top up our skills and knowledge and actively promote green technologies.

  • REAL is the assurance scheme set up by the Renewable Energy Association, and is your guarantee that our solar panel, solar thermal, heat pump and biomass installations are carried out according to the high standards set out in their Customer Code.

  • The Solar Trade Association represents the solar industry in the UK – our membership of the Association means that, whether we install solar thermal or solar PV panels for you, you are guaranteed a quality job by professional tradesmen.

  • TrustMark is a not-for-profit organisation, licensed by the Government and supported by consumer protection groups. TrustMark tradesmen are regularly checked by an independent body and sign up to a comprehensive code of practice – when you see the TrustMark logo, you know that the company displaying it meets the required government endorsed criteria for reputable, trustworthy tradesmen.

  • NAPIT – the National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers – is an organisation committed to consumer safety. By choosing a NAPIT member to install your renewable energy system, you can be confident that work complies with relevant regulations and adheres to their comprehensive, rigorous code of practice.

  • The ECA – Electrical Contractors Association – is the UK’s leading trade association for contractors working with electricity. As a registered member, our work is regularly and rigorously assessed to make sure it is safe – your guarantee that your renewable energy system is professionally installed.

  • ETA is an Austrian manufacturer of high quality biomass boilers   we are proud to be associated with them as both official installation partners and accredited ETA service engineers.
